Ede - born again treat mask
Ede - born again treat mask
A brightening and resurfacing mask for when your skin is feeling a little out of sorts.
Set in a base of kaolin clay that gently absorbs impurities to effectively remove dirt from deep within the pores. Fruit enzymes exfoliate any build-up of dead skin cells and allow the vitamin C and moringa to brighten and balance more efficiently, leaving your skin glowing and regenerated.
Suited to all skin types. Especially beneficial for dry skin.
born again highlights
Kaolin clays gentle nature is especially beneficial for dry or sensitive skin because it doesn’t soak up too much of your natural sebum, allowing the skin to feel balanced, not stripped. Equally, it can be beneficial for oily/combination skin types as often oily skin is over-stripped leading to the natural production of more oil.
As the mask comes in powder form, notice what your skin needs and mix to your skin type or condition. Suggestion: if your skin is feeling dry and inflamed try mixing with oat milk, rose water or honey.
ritual
Use up to twice weekly on cleansed skin. Take a teaspoon of powder and slowly trickle in water. Mix until the mask forms a smooth paste. Apply over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes.
Suggestion: why not invest your time wisely whilst your mask is working? Light a candle, sip on a herbal tea or taking time out to relax with some deep breathing. Your choice.
Make sure to secure the lid firmly to avoid moisture entering the product.

Eve's story
It was my own personal experience of being a consumer for both natural skincare and aromatherapy products that led me to launching ede. I first began formulating my own natural skincare products to cure my acne in my early 20s and I found a natural progression towards aromatherapy happened through self help in dealing with anxiety. Wellness and particularly self-care have always been at the forefront of my mind for many years.
I once bought an aromatherapy rollerball called the ‘Trauma’ blend to calm the nerves and ease anxiety and myself and my partner were laughing in case anyone ever asked me what scent I was wearing. I felt like ede could bridge that gap of aromatherapy and the language we use to express our feelings and emotions in our modern day lives, something that felt more individual and personal to us and was less evasive than feelings of ‘trauma’.
