An evolution of our much-loved Parachute Dress, our striking Celebration Dress extends a free-fitting upper right through to mid-thigh - and from here on, tiny gathers bloom outward to create a full, expressive dropped waist skirt. A gentle turn of the hips becomes amplified as movement travels to a wealth of draped linen, soft weight captured and swung. Dramatic motion in the lower half is balanced by a minimal, durable envelope neckline designed to suspend with ease.

We imagine ourselves moving statuesque through rooms full to the brim with merriment, skirts gently swaying with each step.

Colourway:

Our rich, jewel-toned Teal linen lends a sense of sophisticated depth to a winter palette - at once rich with life and yet suggestive of a calming stillness. It’s a colour that speaks of indulgence; a hue that can be elevated by the glint of fine jewellery, deepened further with similar tones, or paired with contrasting pieces to bring out its intensity.

Care

Hand or machine wash on gentle setting using cold water. Do not tumble dry. Steam press on medium setting for a crisp finish, or hang dry and wear gently wrinkled for a lived-in look.

Manufacture
This garment will be carefully individually cut and sewn in small batches in our Oakham, Rutland design studio (England).

The best size to choose in this style depends on how much drape you prefer. Our model Lily is 5ft 3 and a natural size 8-10 / Small. She’s photographed here wearing the size Small.
