Sleeveless Parachute Top - Blue multi check - Limited style
Sleeveless Parachute Top - Blue multi check - Limited style
VERY LIMITED STYLE
An evolution of our Parachute Top handcrafted for layering and very lightweight wear.
A garment that embodies joyful abandon, swaying and floating with dreamlike movement as you turn and spin. Volumes of soft, weightless cotton compliment our Parachute Top’s girlish silhouette. Gathered into a high waist, tiny pleats create dances of their own, lifted by the breeze. To contrast, a wide rounded neck provides balance and simplicity.
We’ve chosen not to sew our standard deep pockets into this garment, instead taking time to consider the nature of this beautifully gossamer cloth and how it may last best for years to come.
Our Blue/Multi Check Cotton is a gentle colourway with a touch of play. A denim-like mid blue sets the scene for a fine check pattern in ecru, orange, pollen yellow, and apple green. This is a lightweight, gauzy cotton perfect to wear alone on hot summer days, or layered for comforting tactility throughout the year.
Details:
- Wide, rounded neck
- Tiny pleats at the waist to create volume
- Tunic-style body intended to drape below the hip

Eco Credentials:
Flax is a strong plant best grown in northern Europe. It needs little to no fertilisers, and due to the local climate, little extra water. It doesn’t require many pesticides either, as it can grow in poor quality soil. The Advisory Commission Report to the European Parliament stated that flax cultivation has positive effects on eco-system diversity as it allows for an “environmental pause”. One hectare of flax can retain 3.7 tonnes of CO2. Every part of the plant is used, and what isn’t used to produce linen can be utilised to make linseed oil, paper, cattle feed, or even soap.
Linen is almost naturally organic. It’s completely biodegradable, recyclable, and due to its natural absorbency, requires less dye than cotton. Linen therefore scores high on the ecological chart.
Care Hand or machine wash on gentle setting using cold water. Do not tumble dry. Steam press on medium setting for a crisp finish, or hang dry and wear gently wrinkled for a lived-in look.

This garment will be carefully individually cut and sewn in small batches in our Oakham, Rutland design studio (England).
