The relaxed Parasol Dress revisits an archive Nadinoo staple of a simple neckline contrasted with generous gathers to both front and back for dreamy, carefree volume.

We’ve borrowed the neckline of our easy-fitting Slow Day dress to craft our Short Sleeved Slow Day Dress, combined with parachute-like gathers to both front and back for dreamy volume. Four milk-white buttons add clean, design-inspired detail to add interest and simplify dressing.

Take this garment with you from sun-soaked riverbank to everyday market trip. Wear bare-legged to feel soft swathes of linen against the skin lifted to wade and play, or pair with tights and smart shoes to play on the utility-inspired neatness of the button placket and boxy sleeves.

Our Mimosa colour is a pollen yellow with a hint of sulphur, reminiscent of rape-seed fields and the playful nostalgia of a fisherman’s utility wear.

This fabric is a linen and cotton blend. Just as linen allows heat to evaporate in hot weather, it also helps your body retain heat when the outside temperature drops. Naturally grown, it insulates and regulates your temperature without stifling your body as a synthetic fabric might, allowing you to layer up whilst still feeling comfortable.

Care Hand or machine wash on gentle setting using cold water. Do not tumble dry. Steam press on medium setting for a crisp finish, or hang dry and wear gently wrinkled for a lived-in look.

Manufacture
This garment will be carefully individually cut and sewn in small batches in our Oakham, Rutland design studio (England).

The best size to choose in this style depends on how much drape you prefer. Our model Lily is 5ft 3 and a natural size 8-10 / Small. She’s photographed here wearing the size Small.
